Building meaningful software

One Thirteen was founded with a clear goal in mind: build software that serves a purpose. We're a small "team" who get excited about creating tools that actually make your day better.

In 2024, Nick (co-founder) was dealing with a crisis. He was drowning in external hard drives, not knowing which was which and what to do with them. Out of pure necessity, he created a tool to help him organize his life. That tool was Bit Buddy, a tool for creative professionals with too many hard drives to keep track of.

The process of creating Bit Buddy, for Nick, was an awakening of sorts. He began to think of the devices in our pockets differently, and, as a result, began to think of the applications running on them.
