1. Acceptance and eligibility #

These Terms are between you and One Thirteen, located in the United States. By downloading, accessing, or using Bit Buddy, you agree to these Terms and the Bit Buddy Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You must be at least 13 to use Bit Buddy. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app only with a parent or guardian’s permission where required.

2. Apple Standard EULA #

If you downloaded Bit Buddy from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for maintenance or support of Bit Buddy except as required by law. Apple may enforce the applicable App Store terms as a third-party beneficiary.

3. License and acceptable use #

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Bit Buddy on Apple devices you own or control. Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, rent, resell, misuse, or interfere with the app or its services, or use it in violation of law or another person’s rights.

4. Features and data responsibility #

Bit Buddy helps you organize information about storage devices. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and security of the records you enter, your device, your Apple account, and any backups.

iCloud Sync, Auto Add, widgets, and AI features may depend on device capabilities, permissions, operating-system versions, network access, Apple services, or third-party providers. Bit Buddy is not a backup service, data-recovery guarantee, storage monitor, or substitute for maintaining independent backups.

AI output is informational and may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for safety, security, financial, legal, or other consequential decisions.

5. Bit Buddy Pro purchases #

Bit Buddy Pro features are made available through an in-app purchase. Apple controls payment processing, billing, refunds, and App Store purchase terms. The current price, features, and purchase conditions are shown at the time of purchase. Entitlements may be restored through the Apple account used to purchase them, subject to Apple’s systems and policies.

6. Third-party services #

Bit Buddy may use Apple CloudKit, TelemetryDeck, RevenueCat, Firebase Remote Config, OpenRouter, Vercel, and other platform or service providers described in the Privacy Policy. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms. We do not control third-party availability, content, security, or policies.

7. Changes and availability #

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, including paid features, where permitted by law. Bit Buddy may not be available at all times and may depend on Apple services, device permissions, networks, or third-party systems. We will not be liable for an interruption outside our reasonable control.

8. Intellectual property and feedback #

Bit Buddy, its software, design, branding, and content are owned by the Operator or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms grant a license, not ownership.

If you send feedback or suggestions, you grant us permission to use them without restriction or compensation, while retaining ownership of your independent materials.

9. Suspension and termination #

You may stop using Bit Buddy and delete it at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if reasonably necessary to address misuse, security, legal, or operational concerns. Sections that by their nature should continue—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms—will survive.

10. Disclaimers and liability #

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bit Buddy is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that records, sync, AI output, or alerts will be complete, current, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator and its licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-data damages arising from use of Bit Buddy. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Governing law and disputes #

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. The state and federal courts located in Delaware will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.

12. Changes and contact #

We may update these Terms and will post the revised version here with a new “Last updated” date. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue.
