Help
Setup steps, fixes for common problems, and how to reach us.
Get started
- Install Flyby and allow location access when prompted.
- Choose a saved launch spot or add a new location on the map.
- Review the Fly Score and the conditions that affect it.
- Check the flight windows, daylight, and airspace context before you fly.
Common problems
My location or conditions aren’t updating
- Confirm Flyby has location permission in iOS Settings.
- Make sure your iPhone is connected to the internet.
- Reopen Flyby and refresh the launch spot or dashboard.
The Fly Score looks different than expected
The score weighs several conditions at once, including wind, gusts, rain, visibility, cloud cover, daylight, and geomagnetic conditions. Open the score breakdown to see which factors are raising or lowering it, and check your personal limits.
Maps or airspace information are unavailable
Map and airspace data can be delayed or unavailable when a provider is offline, coverage is limited, or your connection drops. Try again later, and verify current information through official sources before flying.
Notifications aren’t appearing
Check Flyby’s notification permission in iOS Settings, and confirm notifications are on for the flight window or location you want to watch.
Flyby Pass
Change or cancel a subscription
Flyby Pass subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
Deleting Flyby doesn’t cancel a subscription, and we can’t cancel one on your behalf.
What the lifetime purchase includes
The lifetime option is a one-time purchase. It doesn’t renew and isn’t a subscription. See the Terms of Use for the full details.
Still need help?
Include your iPhone model, iOS version, and Flyby version, along with what happened.
Flyby is a planning companion, not an authorization or safety service. Always verify current official information and use your own judgment before and during a flight.
