Getting Started

Setting up Quick.Link is quick and easy. Follow these steps to get started:

1. Launch Quick.Link for the first time
2. Enter your YOURLS endpoint (without HTTP or HTTPS)
3. Enter your API Key/Signature Token from your YOURLS console
4. Quick.Link will automatically test the connection
5. Once the connection is successful, the app will open and you're ready to go!

Features

Share Sheet Integration

Quick.Link integrates with Safari's Share Sheet, allowing you to create short links directly from your browser:

1. Open any webpage in Safari
2. Tap the Share button
3. Select Quick.Link from the share options
4. Your short link will be created instantly

Widgets

Quick.Link offers convenient widgets for quick access to your links:

• Add Quick.Link widgets to your home screen
• Access your most recent links with a single tap
• Create new links directly from the widget

Known Issues

Alternate Icons

Due to a known iOS bug, alternate app icons may not update immediately. If you experience this issue:

1. Restart your device
2. The new icon should appear after restart

FAQ

Where do I find my YOURLS API key?

In your YOURLS admin, go to Tools and copy your Signature Token (API key).

What format should my endpoint use?

Enter only the hostname, without protocol. Example: short.yourdomain.com

Links not shortening from the Share Sheet

Open the app once to ensure background permissions are granted, then try again.
