Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms are between you and One Thirteen, located in the United States. By downloading, accessing, or using Slug, you agree to these Terms and the Slug Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 to use Slug. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app only with a parent or guardian’s permission where required.
Apple Standard EULA
If you downloaded Slug from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for maintenance or support except as required by law and may enforce applicable App Store terms as a third-party beneficiary.
License and acceptable use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Slug on Apple devices you own or control. Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, rent, resell, misuse, interfere with, or use the app in violation of law or another person’s rights.
YOURLS servers and credentials
Slug requires a YOURLS endpoint and credentials that you are authorized to use. You are responsible for your server, hosting account, API credentials, link destinations, link content, backups, access controls, and compliance with applicable law.
Slug is a client, not the operator of your YOURLS server. Requests and link data travel between the app and the server you configure. We do not guarantee that a third-party server is available, secure, accurate, or suitable for your use. Never use Slug to create or manage unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing links.
Slug Plus purchases
Slug Plus is made available through an in-app purchase. Apple controls payment processing, billing, refunds, and App Store purchase terms. The current price, features, and purchase conditions are shown at the time of purchase. RevenueCat may manage entitlement status. Entitlements may be restored through the Apple account used to purchase them, subject to Apple’s systems and policies.
Third-party services
Slug may use Apple platform services, RevenueCat, TelemetryDeck, and the YOURLS server or host you choose. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms. We do not control third-party availability, content, security, or policies.
Changes and availability
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, including paid features, where permitted by law. Slug may depend on Apple services, networks, your YOURLS server, or third-party systems. We will not be liable for an interruption outside our reasonable control.
Intellectual property and feedback
Slug, its software, design, branding, and content are owned by the Operator or its licensors. These Terms grant a license, not ownership.
If you send feedback or suggestions, you grant us permission to use them without restriction or compensation, while retaining ownership of your independent materials.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Slug and delete it at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if reasonably necessary to address misuse, security, legal, or operational concerns. Sections that by their nature should continue—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms—will survive.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slug is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee your YOURLS server, links, analytics, or third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator and its licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-data damages arising from use of Slug. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. The state and federal courts located in Delaware will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will post the revised version here with a new “Last updated” date. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue.
