Bit Buddy Troubleshooting
Common issues and how to resolve them. If you're still stuck, email us at support@onethirteen.co.
Information not loading
If your information isn't loading properly, try quitting the app and reopening it.
If SD card devices aren't appearing, check whether SD Card Pool is enabled in Settings. When active, all SD card devices move into the Pool and no longer appear in your main device list.
To edit a previously saved device, tap into the device and press the "Edit" icon in the upper right corner.
iCloud Sync issues
Confirm both devices use the same Apple ID. Open Bit Buddy on each device and wait a moment for sync to complete. Note that private fields may not sync identically depending on your visibility settings.
Appearance / icon switching
You can toggle between appearance modes by clicking "Bit Buddy" atop the Dashboard, then selecting the Appearance option.
If an alternate icon doesn't update, restart your device. This is a known iOS bug.
Biometric authentication
If Face ID or Touch ID isn't working, go to the Settings tab and toggle biometrics off and on. Also verify that Bit Buddy has biometric permission in your device's Settings app (Settings → Bit Buddy → Face ID / Touch ID).
Secure Wipe
Secure Wipe removes all local data. It is recommended to quit the app after confirming, then reopen — all data will be erased.
If iCloud Sync is enabled, Secure Wipe only affects the current device. To remove data from all devices, disable iCloud Sync first, then perform a Secure Wipe on each device individually.
If you plan to delete the app, perform a Secure Wipe first to ensure no data remains on your device.

Quick.Link Troubleshooting
Common issues and how to resolve them.
Connection issues
When entering your YOURLS endpoint, use only the hostname without the protocol (e.g., short.yourdomain.com). Quick.Link will automatically handle HTTPS.
Share Sheet not working
Open Quick.Link at least once after installing so that iOS grants the necessary background permissions. Then try the Share Sheet again from Safari.
Alternate icon not updating
This is a known iOS bug. Restart your device and the new icon should appear.
FAQ
Where do I find my YOURLS API key?
In your YOURLS admin panel, go to Tools and copy your Signature Token (API key).
What format should my endpoint use?
Enter only the hostname, without the protocol. Example: short.yourdomain.com
Links not shortening from the Share Sheet
Open the app once to ensure background permissions are granted, then try again.

Cribbo Overview
Cribbo is a secure vault for HomeKit and Matter setup codes. Keep your codes safe, accessible, and synced across your Apple devices.
Key features
- Store HomeKit and Matter setup codes securely on-device
- Face ID and Touch ID protection
- iCloud Sync across iPhone and iPad
- HomeKit device importing
- Encrypted backups and exports
- Matter code support
- Device identification tools
Pricing
Cribbo is available for $1.99 as a one-time purchase on the App Store.
Cribbo Troubleshooting
Common issues and how to resolve them.
Face ID or Touch ID is not unlocking Cribbo
- Close and reopen Cribbo.
- In Cribbo settings, turn biometric lock off and on again.
- In iOS Settings, verify Cribbo has Face ID or Touch ID permission enabled.
iCloud Sync is not updating between devices
- Confirm both devices use the same Apple ID and iCloud account.
- Check that iCloud Sync is enabled inside Cribbo on each device.
- Open Cribbo on both devices and keep the app open for a moment to allow sync to complete.
HomeKit import — setup codes are missing
This is expected behavior. HomeKit import brings in device metadata only. Apple Home does not provide original setup codes to third-party apps, so codes must be added manually.
Device identification tools are unavailable
Identification actions only appear for compatible accessories and require that the accessory is reachable in your current Home setup.
Import or encrypted backup restore failed
- Confirm you selected a Cribbo export or backup file.
- Double-check your passphrase for encrypted backups.
- Retry after closing and reopening the app.
Before you contact support
- Update to the latest Cribbo version
- Restart the app, then your device if needed
- Note your iOS version and a short description of the issue
- Include any error message text and the steps to reproduce the problem
